Yes i have, But was looking at buying a couple extra things i may need as i read it does not come with vac regulator or resin catch pot and want to know if the other items are needed. that is why i have the questions.

As i know some starter kits are the bare basics i would like to buy everything at once being in Aust it is cheaper to have it all shipped in one big go.

It does come with the regulator if you select it from the drop down box.

It depends on the quantity you require as to whether the kit is good value, if you want everything to test it out then the kit is a good option and will give you an idea of what kit you need. If you want boxes of nitrile gloves, 50m of fabric, a box of tape, 100m roll of vac bag etc then buy everything on the list but individually from the bulk buy section.

To jump from vac bag to infusion you only really need infusion mesh, spiral, a catch pot and "possibly" the regulator but there are ways and means around not having to use one.

A degas chamber is a good idea if you have the funds for it, otherwise it's a nice thing to have but quite expensive!

You only need the vac regulator if you are infusing or bagging with polyester resin, and even then most seem to not need it now.

You can get away with very little, just pump (doesn't need to be a high cfm one) catch pot is good but not essential, especially as you say breather so I guess your doing wet lay, and breather cloth, along with the rest of your stack

Have you looked at the starter kit on easy composites? That has pretty much everything you need and you can order the extras seperately

Well i'm starting to piece together a startup kit formyself.  I don’t want to go with thebasic kit as such and then have to upgrade a lot of it later down the track andi dont want to get the best items out on the market.

Looking at putting my own kit together.

So far thinking

Pump 12CFM or above item

Resin catch pot

bleeder/breather

Vacuum bag connector

Vacuum leak flow indicator

Now do I need a degassing chamber?

vacuum regulator

Budget is about a total of $2000AU to start off with and I wouldlike to be able to  do things as large asbonnets I have got my own side company doing fibreglass body parts so do want to expand in the future into doing these parts in carbon.
