What is the accepted method of obtaining a nice edge on a kevlar part?  All the methods I have tried (basically all the usual fiberglass and carbon fiber cutting and finishing techniques) result in a furry edge.  I have tried tacking down the fur with resin but that results in hard Aramid/Kevlar hairs sticking up from the edge perfect for sticking into soft body parts.  Suggestions?

Best way is to leave the kevlar away from the edge of the part so you don't have to cut it at all. If you can't get away from that then I have had success using a diamond cutting wheel and then sanding away whatever fluffy bits are left behind. Generally quite difficult to do without any fluffy bits at all.

I use 240 grit sand paper which seems to get the worst of the fluff off. For diolen, I use a blow torch to singe the fluff into a ball and then sand them off

If you have to keep the Kevlar to the edge you can rub the edge down with 800/1000/1200 wet and dry and get a fairly smooth edge

Also sandwich the outside edge of the part in a carbon edge makes it easy to trim
