How would you cast this?

Hi there, I've bought the Easy Composites starter silicone/polyurethane kit, but am looking for advice on how to cast this to enable best results. I'm pretty new to this and would prefer to create a once piece mould and zig zag cut it at a seam to release, but the horse is made of china, and I don't want to break off its legs as it's the only one I have and I'm trying to create four replicas for a model carousel.

If I were to do a one piece mould, where would the seam go? Where would the air vent and pouring hole go?

Advice most gratefully received.

I would cut the silicone down the centre all the away round from head to tail.  You then between each pair of legs put a small cut from centreline to the leg itself so you can free the leg as you split the mould.

If you are really worried about it breaking, you would cut it into 3 pieces.  The third piece would be a cut line that goes between each leg in a rectangle. So youd end up with 2 halves of the horse and a rectangular block of silicone that fits between the 4 legs.
