I just started working on my doctorate at the University of Warwick and I'm pretty sure resin infusion is going to play a large part in that so I thought I'd sign up and bounce ideas off people. Hope that's ok?

Welcome Say hi to Dr Toby Mottram for me, he was a great help when I was at Coventry.

What are you doing your PhD in/on? when I was studying I was looking at introducing quasi-ductility in bolt bearings by varying the laminate stacking sequence.

If it's more natural composites then David Trujillo at Coventry is a good source of information and would probably be helpful.

Hi Chris,

I'm doing an EngD for Jaguar Land Rover. I only started a few weeks ago and the title is very general  - Processing of Composites. They've mentioned a variety of areas including natural fibre resin infusion, hybrid laminates and sandwich panels.

I'm afraid I don't know those guys. I'm at Warwick not Coventry University but if I end up over there for my research I'll say hi to them for you.

Proffessor Mottram (just found out he's a proff now too) is part of the school of engineering at warwick. he's mainly composties i beleive, might be worth seeking him out...
