I would like to obtain a good surface finish with excellent mechanical performance! I have 20ton hydraulic press (60x60cm enough for me) with heated plates (max. 250°C), it's useful? Thank you!!

Group: Forum Members Posts: 5, Visits: 22	The glass is good for 1face perfect finish, but for both face? And how to control the thickness? I tried to laminate some pieces of carbon fiber on a really smooth plastic sheet, but the resin tend to be squeezed out of the fabrics even with low pressure (just the weight of the main plate, about 50kg distributed in 60x60cm surface) and pin holes appears.... The pin holes disappear with excess of resin. 1) Use pre-preg - really expensive!!! 2) Don't use press 3) Vacuum infusion using double glass
