Group: Awaiting Activation Posts: 4, Visits: 33	Gooday Mates! Another new guy checking in. Very excited about learning and experimenting with composites. Hoping to start a little company to keep me busy in my retirement. If not that then just have fun making useful items. This is by far the best sight I've found. I was first introduced to carbon fiber in grade school. We had an assembly and a man had a piece suspended on a frame. He held his hand close to one side while holding a blow torch close to the other. The spot was glowing red hot and yet he could hold his hand there and not get burned. He was talking about the space program and the heat shield on the space capsule. You've had my attention ever since. Enough rambling for now LIVE LONG & PROSPER! Ron
