When trying to cut fabric carefully to make small parts, what do people use? Shears are fine for larger parts, but when I want to cut out reasonably accurate parts, I was planning on using a knife and cutting mat, but not sure if it will simply blunten the blade quickly and start ton pull the fabric?

I use a number of tools, a pair and small shears from EC and i also use a curved blade surgical scalpel plus one of the wheel cutters below. Make sure you have a cutting mat etc under the fabric.
