I'm Dave, originally from the uk but now living and working in Portugal. I repair and paint yachts so have done a lot of repair work with glass mostly but we hopefully have a rather large job coming in soon which is a combination of glass carbon and kevlar so we'll probably look into setting up with infusion kit. If we do then I also have plans to use the kit for making some carbon (and probably some blue/carbon stuff) parts for my bike.

I've already read loads of useful info on here and seen some nice inspiring stuff too, but for now a have a query about something a little more basic. I'll go post that in the general section.

Actually, the composites work on boats isn't usually that interesting, especially from a visual point of view. Only a few of the higher end or race yachts tend to have visible carbon parts. Mostly it's just fibreglass gel coated or painted.
