Group: Forum Members Posts: 1, Visits: 5	Hi all, I am intending to use this pump together with your 26l vacuum degassing chamber for vacuum resin casting. I would like to ask about the negative pressure (or underpressure) it can create as I would need at least -0,9 bar (which is about -13 PSI). The questions: 1. Is the pump able to create this underpressure? 2. Will the degassing chamber withstand this underpressure without any risk of implosion? Thank you for answers, Martin

Group: Forum Members Posts: 47, Visits: 2.1K	The problem you have when trying to boil water using vacuum pressure, is that the water boiling reduces the pressure as it turns into a gas. Try with out any water in there and see if it helps. If it still wont reach the vacuum make sure all the seals are tight ect. Tom www.pandakayaks.co.uk
