Group: Forum Members Posts: 12, Visits: 519	Afternoon all. I've recently started having a go at fibreglass to make an air tray for my bike and the thoughts turned to carbon fibre. The tray was the first time I'd done any sort of proper mould making and gelcoat, previously it was only VERY minor repairs to fairings etc. So far I have most of what I need to start infusion as my go at wet laying some carbon, while it looked good for a first attempt, wasn't as good as I'd want to make. the part was an engine cover and is 1 layer carbon/kevlar 2 layers carbon with west epoxy. I'm sure I'll be asking many questions when I have my mould ready......
