Good Morning All,
Currently attempting to make a compression mould for the below part:
Initial thoughts on making the mould, would be to build up underneath the part (red side up - about 50mm) to make the female side. Essentially making he "piston" portion of the mould deeper than the example given in the clutch cover video. Any potential issues with this?
And for the detailed sections, any tips on applying the release wax? Example below:
Any help or advice on casting this would be greatly appreciated as this is hopefully the first of many projects
