What's the material for making flanges in split moulds?
polypropylene, fluted correx, mdf, ....?

Hi, Ive use polyprop in the past and plexi, seen some guys making flanges with a hard cardboard as well, I guess you could
use anything you want as long as it is a bit heatresistend and not to porous. Make sure it is hard enough so you can wax it
properly, MDF sounds a bit to porous to me and would be a bit harder to wax mouldrelease on

corex fluted signboard is perfect.
Cardboard is fine too when covered in flash breaker tape or a cheap parcel tape you know resin doesnt stick too.
