hello Everyone, I am totally new to carbon the only knowledge I have is what I've gathered from watching YouTube videos so far. My plan is to build a full suspension mountain bike out of carbon, to do this I was thinking about using a foam core and wrapping it in layers of 3k. My main question with this is if I planned on doing four layers of carbon per tube should it be done in one continuous sheet that simply wraps around the tube four times then vacuum bag it to harden or should I do each layer entirely separate. If I was to do it separately is there any prep work that need to be done to the already hardened carbon (i.e. sanding it). Also I have heard of people wrapping their item in electrical tape in order to apply pressure until the carbon cures, does this actually work? it seems easier than vacuum bagging but also kinda sketchy. i'm sure there is tons of information out there aim towards beginners so if anyone has any handy links or videos it would be greatly appreciated.
