My first question is, is it possible to use
THIS
as a front face for wet lay carbon fibre sheet....? and does anyone know where I can get Kevlar / Aramid cloth in tubular form ?

I dont get your first question as its a pic of the sample pack. which material do you mean??
Kevlar as a braided tube is hard to find.I only know of one type available which is kevlar tube for covering wiring looms. its on

Hi Warren
My question was can the material featured in these sample packs (different Colours and type) be use as the first (face) sheet in say A4 sheets of carbon fibre, the use being for custom guitar scratch plates, as opposed to plain black faced, Thanks also for the headsup on the kevlar tube, found just exactly what I needed on the bay....

yes they can! That is the sole purpose of the coloured carbons as they give a different look.
Pretty much any composites fabric can be used as a surface. You have to be a bit careful with the "heavyweight" or larger weave patterns as you can get print through although gel coats can solve that. Some people like to use the larger patterns on heavy weight carbons.
