Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows if the water clear resin would be any good for making micarta. I am after making it specifically for knife handles,and have seen that there are at least 2 different kinds,so did not know which would be best, or if either would be any good.

I use "infusion Polyester resin" from EC --- it is by far the best I've tried yet, and not nearly as expensive as Epoxy or Polyurethane -
The EC "Water cleat polyester casting resin" has too high a viscosity in my opinion, and does not work well when making cloth type micartas.
