Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 51	Hi! I'm doing a one off project in Texas soon. I want to buy 5m of Carbon Fiber/Yellow Kevlar Cloth Fabric. It has to be bought in dollars by the gallery I'm working with (who can't help with sourcing Kevlar etc) so unfortunately I can't use Easy Composites this time. Could anyone recommend a company in Texas or the US for buying small orders? I realise some places are more expensive than others. Thank you for your help! Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 51	Thank you so much for your help here. I was getting stuck and not sure if what I buy will come in good condition (rolled on a tube and not folded.) Which type of this fabric would you recommend for the aesthetic quality of the weave? As the exhibition is about woven materials from pre industrial to post industrial age. It has to be Kevlar as I'm making a point about it being up to date and being used for body armour.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 2.5K, Visits: 28K	Soller always does a fantasic job of packaging, gets all the way from the US to me here in Aus in perfect condition. Never folded, always rolled. If you're going with carbon/kevlar, I personally think the regular 2x2 twill weave is the best aesthetically. You want the same number of carbon tows as Kevlar tows. Some fabrics have more of one and less of the other, which gives the fabric an odd appearance (but better performance from that textile). From memory Soller only have the one kind anyway, so that should be easy.
