Hi,

We are getting a component manufactured with carbon fibre sheet (component is 3mmx121mm disc). Some of these have been rejected for falling outside the required thickness tolerance of 3mm+/-0.1mm.

As a result we are looking at widening the tolerance to 3+/-0.5 but wish to have a good surface flatness, say 0.05mm or better as this is quite important.

Is there any information available on your products in relation to these characteristics, i.e surface flatness and finish tolerances of the thickness?

I realise that a very good surface flatness may be difficult to achieve. The use of the component necessitates the use of carbon fibre.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance!

Phil
