Hi.

In last December during a windy day as I was driving on the motorway, somebody with a van was driving further in front and on another lane and at one point his right side plastic bumper protection just came off, and because of speed and having cars near me on the other lanes the wind just blow it in front of my car and cracked my drivers side Carbon Fiber Splitter.

This is how the Splitter looked before:

And now cracked:

The splitter is glued to the bumper and it will be quite hard to be taken off and I'm afraid that it might even brake in the process, so any indications of how can I fix it and if it will be possible to do it as it is on the car rather than removing it first? Do I put just resin on the crack or how can be done?

Thanks

Hi Warren. Thanks for the reply, in themiddle of the crack the resin came off and You can see feel the CF material socan You please advise me what to do in this case, plus probably after sandingdown I should better polish it than spray it with a clear coat. Thanks
