hi!
I had a problem trying to cover with carbon the tailgate of my citroen C4
Before applying the black gelcoat, sand it and clean it thoroughly, then apply and let dry carbon, after 3 days drying, I began to smooth the carbon layer, but note that in an area came as a bubble, but it was the carbon that had taken off from the part
Now already removed all carbon, and sanded again, but the layer appeared after removing the carbon is not the same as that in the first sand
As I can do to cover this piece? had planned to do with polyester?
See if you can help
Thanks

i think you can brush with 100. then apply what you want. strange that epoxy reacted like that as normaly polyster resin and gelcoat kick out paint. But like i stated before it was paint and paint almost always reacts like that. Hope it helped.
