Making tabs/brackets

Hi all,

I'm new to the site and just getting the resolve to finally go ahead and make some c/f parts after years of wanting to give it a go.

I want to make a few bits for my motorbike and westfield and am in the stages of doing research on the various techniques needed.

How would I best go about tackling tabs/brackets that are moulded into some of the plastic parts on my bike?  A case in point would be the back of the head light surround, which I've attached pics of (hopefully!) to show an example.  Its to the best pic in the world. And the light unit is in 2 parts (black and silver plastic) but there are various tabs, brackets and screw holes to be tackled.

Any advice greatly received!

Cheers

You could pre-make the mounting tabs ( wet lay-up over  angle aluminum as the form copy)....and then later,  Infuse them in your dry stack with additional fabric pre-cut to surround them for added flex and strength.
