I'm new here on this forum... Also I'm new in composites world...
My idea is to make carbon diving fins in mould with two sides with vacuum infusion. (dim. 20x70cm). In first few trys I used glass fibre and I had some "holes" without resin. Now I know the choice of resin was wrong....My next try will be with carbon reinforcement and infusion epoxy resin.From this point I need suggestions about tipe of carbon..(thickness.. UD or TWILL... or combination...) Fin have to be strong and shiny from both sides... Mould is made from plexyglass.
