Thermoplastics prepregs / Fabrication process

Hey everyone,

I am new on this forum.

I would like to know how a thermoplastic prepreg is rolled in the end of the fabrication process and how it is stored.
Because once the polymer is heated to melt, then it should cool and harden. So I supposed that the specialized companies are using a
special technique to roll it, other wise, after staying at a room temperature, the prepreg becomes useless and can't be unrolled, even if the polymer is stable at a room temperature.

Do you have any information about it ?

Thank you,

Paul

Pre-pregs aren't typically thermoplastic. Most people use them in the thermoset variety as wojtepanik described.

...Not a very helpful reply from me either, as I don't know much about thermoplastics in general...
