kind attention. i am trying to cover the fenders of my car in CF. but i got some trouble with the materials that i have to use. i live in the dominican republic, and i can not purchase from easy composites big parts of the materials needed as black epoxy base coat and laminating resin.
i would like to know if there are any substitute that could be use for this job. ex. i found on ebay the black epoxy for the first layer but in small qunatity and it doesn't get the job done. could i skin the whole part just using normal epoxy resin or could some one give me an idea.
thanks.

As long as what you are skinning is black then you can use your laminating resin for the base coat. The base coat is black so if there are any gaps in the fabric you don't see the other color underneath.
