Getting a logo on a finished CF part?

Hi,

Any suggestions as to how to put a great looking logo onto a finished carbon fibre part? I'm thinking a logo in silver should look good against the carbon fibre background.

I'm guessing silver wording on a clear adhesive label would do if quality wasn't an issue, but how would you go about it if the only concern was making the finished part look really professional?

Thanks in advance!

Just a note from a failure that may help someone else.

I used a thermal transfer color print on clear in an attempt to seal a branding and serial number into the peel ply surface of a part. The sticker floated up and bonded with the peel ply and pulled the majority of it out of the part.

I'm thinking this time around, it goes on the support structure, in a glossy surface area so it wont peel out.

Should I use a perforated film to print onto to allow it to stay within the part as opposed to going to a surface?
