I'm new to this field (though a one-time chemist) and have a query on the rare subject of a croquet mallet head.
I wish to make a mallet head from a steel tube and secure a lead weight inside the tube with an adhesive which will also form the (playing) face of the mallet head. Thus it seems that I need a resin that will withstand the blows from a croquet ball over a lifetime.
Any suggestions as to type of resin and particular product within a supplier's range ?

We don't really have anything hard enough for that purpose.
