You cannot control the thickness off an infusion per say, this is purely down to the amount and type of material you are using in your lay up but a good method of estimating the thickness before the infusion is to use a pair of vernier callipers and using the wheel apply a moderate force to the laminate stack and take a reading. There are ways of accurately doing this but it is time consuming and to be honest this simple test is never more than 0 .1 mm out.
