is there any advantage to straining the resins before application? like we do for auto paint?
any light colored dust or chunks of resin or dirt could ruin 100's of dollars of materials.

thoughts?

thanks

It depends on how clean the resin is.  Any decent quality resin should be ready to go from the can with no filtering needed.

I would be more concerned about dust/debris on the mould surface or in the environment where you are moulding.
