Hi
Can you recommend what glue we would be best to use to glue/seal aluminium to aluminium on a boat wheel house roof. Temperature range would be –20 to + 100 DegC.
Could you also help with quantity? We have around 18m of 30mm wide strips to be fixed.

Any of our epoxy based adhesives would work well for an aluminium to aluminium bond. Both surfaces should always be keyed first though.
Our
ET500Rigid 5min Epoxy Adhesive
would give a quick and rigid bond.
Our
ET515 Semi Flexible 15min Epoxy Adhesive
takes a little longer to cure and also has a much higher flexural strength where the finished panel is exposed to vibration/shock.
Our
ET538Honeycomb Bonding Epoxy Adhesive
is specially formulated for bonding aluminium to a range of materials (including aluminium) so is probably closest suited for your needs.
Quantity calculations are always hard as it depends on the use. Our adhesives come in 50ml or 400ml packs ie by volume. How much you use would vary between a thin bead and it being spread out. Your initial quantity would suggest to me you are looking at the very least at 1 400ml twin tube to get started with.
