Can silicone rubber be used to make gaskets ?

I need to make quite a complex gasget that provides acoustic insulation between two components as well as making up for minor imperfections in connecting the components. The gasket would be a 'fit one' type. Size approximately 200 mm x 50 mm x 3 mm.

Can your silicone rubber be used for this and if so which one is best ?

Either our CS2 Condensation Cure Silicone Rubber or our AdditionCure Silicone Rubber can both be used to make gaskets and sealing rings.

AdditionCure Silicone Rubber has a higher temperature resistance, lower shrink and better dimensional accuracy of the two silicones.

Ultimately it depends on the specific application as to wether a condensation cured or addition cured silicone is better for your needs.
