Hi,
For my caterham supers even I would like to laminate some windscreen stanchions out of carbon. As these stancions are not flat, they have to be laminated in the correct curve. Links to the original parts: http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=1227 http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=1228 My intention is to put the parts on the car as they are, without any paint. Therefore my intention is to have both sides flat. The inner side because of laying directly on the aluminum body panel, the outer side because of optical reasons (glossy finish).
May I ask the experienced with which technique I (beginner) should start?
Many thanks in advance
Regards from cold switzerland, Markus

CF resin can be painted to abrade the surface i suggest P400 grit or finer. P1000/P1200 i think would be too fine.
