For some times I had to use kickstand for walking for some month.
Unfortunately tips were not design for the tube diameter and brakes very quickly (1 week). It is very difficult to find good tips and expansive (5 to 8 € each).

So I decide to build my own tips

I select Xencast PX60 for casting
Moulds are printed with PTEG filament.

The first idea was with a 25mm washer cast into a 2 part compression mould with PVA release agent.

I wasn't enable to demould the part.

After this I change the mould making a 4 parts mould.

I change the washer to a 40mm diameter.

I Cast A second tip
When demoulding they was a lot of bubbles and the part it split and a

for the 3rd casting I decide to make a vacuum bag for degassing after cast. but the 10mn cure time were not enough to remove all air bubbles.

The result was worse. the part crumble (no pictures).

I decide to change the release agent and use CR1.
Also I raise the demoulding time form 2h to more than 12h.
With the 4th cast I get the first usable part.

Some bubbles are remaining but now the tips are full usable. Just have to wait for a week to use them.
I hope with the large washer the tips don't break in one week.

Is there a way to avoid air bubbles ?
Between each casting I use black soap to remove remains of PU. Is this a good choice ?
Do I need to apply CR1 between each casting ?
