How do I put carbon over a block of foam?

Hello,

Beginner here, I'm trying to put carbon fiber over a block of foam about 1 X 3 1/2 X 6 1/2 inches in size. I thought this would be easy.....but getting it to stick down to the foam and all of the corners....I'm making a complete mess here! Is there an easy way to do this? What am I missing there? Thanks Smile

I like both of those ideas....I'm going to try both of them! Thanks guys Smile

The 6 piece experiment went pretty well but the 3 piece went even better....one large to go around and two small pieces on the ends. Now....do I just grab a sanding block and go to town on those edges?
