We wander if the carbon sheet prepp is effected by cutting fluids? normal Water solub, standard machine fluid, or a Shell Fenella VD 201 N?
We are trying to reduce particles and heat when cutting 1.5mm sheet or 2mm sheet with small tools 0.8mm and up to 4mm.
We don't want it to delaminate!!!!!!

Hi, Rob,

Dunno if it makes any sense with composites... But I had good results on aluminum milling with a permanent mist of ethanol. It would evaporate in a matter of seconds and leave a clean dry part.

I know some resins will blemish by the permanent contact of ethanol. But what about that mist during machining only? Before trying it, you might want the EC guys give their input.
