Hello,

I need to know either an exact or approximate value for the Poisson's ratio and Young's modulus of a mix of EL2 epoxy laminating resin and AT30 slow epoxy hardener. If you can, could you please help me with that?
Ideally, I would like to know an estimate of what the Poisson's ratio and Young's modulus would be for the following mix:
- 23 g of EL2 epoxy laminating resin
- 7 g of AT30 slow epoxy hardener
- 90 g of sand of size between 0.5 and 1 mm
- 30 g of sand less than 250 micrometer in size

If you cannot help me, do you know of references/papers that could help me?

Cheers!

The mechanical data available for EL2 is on the enclosed TDS. However the data is relevant to the resin and not a specific mix of materials and additives.  You would need to try and simulate or calculate data for your specific mix. In practice it may well be easier to mix a test batch and conduct testing on it.
