Matt finish

Hello all,

Just ordered the XCR skinning kit, was wondering if it's possible to give it a matt finish? a dry carbon look, I kind of prefer that look, if so how do I best achieve that?
Just grind the shine away with mild sandpaper or 'roughly' sand it and spray it with matt varnish?

It will work, yes, but generally for composites use we always recommend a good quality 2 pack lacquer.  Automotive ones work well as usually they are UV stable and quite tough which is ideal for composites parts.
