Curing EG160 in the oven

Hey Guys,

just a quick question: has anyone tried to cure EG160 mould with slightly elevated temperature in the oven? I have a project where time is important and I want to reduce the curing time from 24h to perhaps 18h by putting the mould in the oven with about 35/40 degree.

Anyone tried that and has some info?

Although there is no specific elevated temperature curing data, it should be possible to do as Hanaldo suggests.

However, be very careful that the pattern you are moulding from is suitable for going to that temperature.  Commonly EG160 based moulds are cured at room temperature then post cured later, because the pattern isn't made from high temperature suitable materials.
