Hello,
I'm currently working on a part for a plane - the part is cut from a flat sheet of gloss carbon fiber. My goal is to make the finished side uv resistant - any recommendations on clear coat? Should I be sanding the surface first even though it is already glossy and has a glass-like finish or should I spray the clear coat directly on the product?
I also want the unfinished side to be impact resistant - any suggestions here? I have thought about using 1708 biaxial or truck bed liner spray but I'm open to any and all ideas. Thanks!
