I've been cutting up and studying a lot of our failed carbon structures lately to try and nail down the root cause of the failure, and my camera phone is just really not cutting it. Does anyone here use a digital microscope for inspecting carbon specimens? Do you have one that you recommend?
I've found some consumer-grade microscopes on Amazon for $40 and up. Then there are more scientific ones for $600 and up. I'd like to keep it under $1000, but if you have a favorite that costs more than that, let me know.
