My second project involves making a motorcycle tank in Carbon Fiber. I have read a lot about split molds and understand the process. My tank has a mounting bar that I am not sure of how to pull the mold for the bottom of the tank.
  
Not sure why the pics came in sideways. You can see the half round bar/ mount on the bottom that is in the way of pulling a mold off the bottom. Would I just do lay in as much as possible up to the mount and then hand lay in pieces once the mold is off the bottom? The bottom doesn't have to be too pretty.
