Silicone Diaphragm

Hi,
I'm a complete beginner in this area. And currently attempting to make something I know not a lot about but will hopefully learn fast.
First project is a rolling diaphragm cylinder for some robotic type research. So if any can point me in a good place to start it would be most appreciated :-)

Are you on about making a roller for AFP type applications? As it sounds like it from your description above. Ive made a few rubber rollers but I printed them rather than casting a silicone / rubber.
