+x+xhi guys,
i have made a Fibreglass mould of a part, however due to the angles of the part, its quite difficult to remove it from inside the mould.
i was wondering how i can go about using compressed air to pop the part out of the mould? is it a simple case of drilling a hole in the mould and attaching some compressed air?
Use a wooden wedge to loosen around the whole perimeter, then blow some compressed air underneath from the side. If this doesn't work you can start thinking about drilling through the mould.
And be careful and always wear eye protection...
using a wedge and then compressed air worked for me! however it did take alot of work, i will be looking into drilling a hole for me next pull.
