+xGreetings!I have been using 3M Super 77 adhesive spray for most of the hand layup/ wet layup carbon fiber projects. During the placement of the fabric on the parts after the application of the spray tack seems fine but the problem arises upon the application of epoxy resin, the fabric starts to lift up and doesn’t bond well with the parts any longer and even on flat surfaces, a variation of bubbles can be seen. I can’t seems to find an adequate solution on this matters, I hope that the members in forum would be able to share some insights on this matters. Your help and assistance is greatly appreciated. The tack sprays are mainly designed for vacuum infusion where the fabrics are impregnated only once vacuum bagged. Not much help but maybe you need to look into a new process for laminating.
You want a spray that dissolves in epoxy so it does not leave any marks on the mould surface.
