Hi!
I hope this is the proper place for this question.
I have been watching your videos with great interest and one question that I have after watching your Making a Carbon Fibre Bonnet video as well as the Skinning/Wrapping video was how to design a part/mould if the part is meant to interface with other parts via fasteners. I see that in the bonnet video you use epoxy to glue metal parts on however, if this were not possible or not practical, how would one design THREADS (or threaded inserts) into the part? Conversely, if one were to skin a part with CF that already has existing threaded inserts - say for instance that gun stock that was skinned had parts that had to be screwed into it, how would you deal with skinning in and around that opening? Is is possible to make a video on this?
I hope this question makes sense. As I am very (VERY) new to carbon and composites, I likely still have large gaps in my understanding of the process and thus I hope you'll excuse what might in fact be a silly question. Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to your response and learning new things!

The resin won't soak into the wax. You can just clean the wax out quite easily afterwards. You can for some fasteners get little silicone plugs/covers for the threads of the fastener.
