Anyone use those fluted sheets from wickes? For moulds edging. Good price £4 per sheet

I'm guessing that they're made from much the same stuff as the fluted signboard that EC sells, so should work okay for flange making, with a few coats of release agent applied

I'm not a massive fan of using it, though, as using it on curved shapes it can leave you with creases that can cause problems with reliable bag sealing on the resultant mould flange.

If it's possible to do the same job with the regular-self releasing polypropylene plastic sheets, I'd always opt to use it. In 1mm thicknesses it's quite flexible and a bit of heat can help it form around curves. It just tends to leave you with a flatter surface that can make sealing a bit more consistent

Good idea.Just got now very long part so will use the thick one on length and then stuff on corners.
