Hey guys I'm looking for some techniques on how to make the rough side look better. The parts I make are molded, but do not have any intricate or hard to reach areas
I don't need an A finish so I have already ruled out the more difficult techniques like closed molds or fusing 2 finished parts together.
What have you guys tried? What ideas do you think would work? And what is the difficulty and finish you got?
Thanks for the help, Lance

A quick and easy way is to sand the peel ply finish smooth, then blast a couple thin layers of lacquer over the top. You can actually go far enough with a few layers of lacquer to make the back look almost as good as the A surface but only go that far if you are also lacquering the A side or it will stand out too much.
You can also skim over a thin layer of resin to smooth it out.
