Hello, im looking to start up maybe in the carbon fiber side of composites as my day job is working with fiberglass and wet laying so i thought i would give carbon fiber a go and was wondering a couple of things i was thinking of making a leather wallett wrapped in carbon fiber what carbon fiber and epoxy resin keeps it soft so you can fold it etc? Also if i make moulds off of plugs with polyester resin and 450 csm can i make epoxy carbon fiber parts off of the moulds the epoxy resin wont mess with the polyester mould? Cheers Darren

This isn't really an application for epoxy+carbon. There are some briefcases wich are partial made from flexible carbon fibre. These are made from flat sheets of carbon fibre cloth in a transparent silicone matrix. From there on you could use it to some degree like regular cloth to tailor things.
