Silicone mould mixing Ratio 100:5

Hi all,
My question is the 100:5 mixing ratio, is it whatever the weight is eg: 170g of silicone part A  X  5% of catylist   
So 170g x 5% = 8.75 catalyst?

Well in that case, BigGrin when I put your method :- (170 / 100) x 5 = 8.75g   Into a calculator it shows 8.5 how did you get 8.75?

oops; yes, 8.5 - my bad!!

Thank god for that I thought I was going mad, you have no idea how many times and different ways  I wrote it into the calculator....BigGrinLaughBigGrinLaugh anyway thank you so much for your help
