Hello,

I am using your High Strength Carbon Fibre Sheet (Double A-Side) with 1 mm and 3 mm thicknesses. Could you please tell me the stacking sequence of both the laminates and the curing process?
Under specification I can read just the lay ups and it's not specified the exact sequence or the orientation of the plies.

Thanks,
Daniela

. The pre-preg sheets. Each layer is orientated in a 0 and 90 degree orientation. There is no layer rotation during the lay up. The cure cycle is exactly as per the XC130 requirements at 100C under vacuum and pressure at 8 Bar. We don’t use a higher temperature post cure for this product.

The layup order of fabrics is always aimed to be as balanced as possible or close to it. For the 1mm sheet the layup is:

XPREG XC130 210g
XPREG XC130 450g
XPREG XC130 450g
XPREG XC130 210g

So for the 3mm sheet, you have:

XPREG XC130 210g
XPREG XC130 450g
XPREG XC130 450g
XPREG XC130 450g
XPREG XC130 210g
XPREG XC130 450g
XPREG XC130 450g
XPREG XC130 210g

Thank you for the detailed answer.

Hello,

I would like also to ask if you know the fiber volume fraction of the two (High Strength Carbon Fibre Sheet (Double A-Side) with 1 mm and 3 mm thicknesses).

Thank you.
