Hi I made an XPS foam mold in order to make a composite part of carbon and resin. The problem is that in the infusion process when the air has removed there some deformations in my mold. My mold is not thick enough. If I could i would make a new one,but because of the circumstances i have to keep the same mold. Can you suggest a solution in order to avoid the deformations ??

I suppose you use an envelope bag so the mould has to withstand the compressive forces of the vacuum?
Can you just seal the bag on the mold flange? This way you just compress the laminate between the mold surface and the vacuum bag.
