EMP160 / EG160 post cure cycle?

Hi!
So we have been using the post cure stated on the TDS sheet for EMP160/EG160. (1st image)
But I noticed on the video tutorial the post cure is completely different. (2nd image)

Our mould seems to be a lot darker than the mould that was shown on the video.

What cure cycles are you using for EMP160/EG160?

Please and thanks for the assistance!

Thanks for getting in touch, you are using the correct cure cycle, the illustration used on the video is just to give an impression of a ramp-cure cycle. With regard to the discoloration, it will darken slightly after post-cure but it shouldn’t cause any problems with the performance, if it is very dramatic then this can be caused by a few factors,

Firstly; if there it too much hardener in the gelcoat this can cause it to ‘blush’ and discolor when heated.
Secondly; if the oven heats up too quickly or goes over temperature.
Finally; although not likely, there could be contamination in the oven, we had a customer have molds turn brown in an oven that was normally used to melt wax.

All this being said the resin systems are very stable and should still perform perfectly well, I would suggest trying a small test piece to see if the situation re-occurs.
